Ash been especially trying. She is sooooo reactive lately! Fake crying, loud howls of indignation, dramatic throwing of herself to the floor, kicking, whining, no patience, etc. And she isn't using "thank you" like she was. It's like she's just REALLY mad and grumpy all the time. Discipline hasn't been working and, believe me, I've tried EVERYTHING! Maybe I'm just impatient because even though I know that consistency is key, it seems like something ought to be working for her!
And then there's my house. Not packed. Not anything. I look at everything and just feel overwhelmed. I may be a bit ADD about the whole thing because when I get interrupted by the girls (they DO come first) I find it very difficult to get back on track. I don't do with with transitions, I guess.
So there you have it. Oh yeah, and I have a huge headache.
Thank you so much for listening to my grousing.
If you've got any great ideas for helping 2 years stay happy and content, I'm all ears.
If you've got a good tutorial for upcycling adult t-shirts to fit children, puh-leeze send me a link!

Well, I just laughed when I read the part about the shirt... wow... sounds like me sewing (my sis sews. not I)
As for keeping toddlers busy... Box of fruit loops and some string (to make a necklace)... fill the sink with an inch of water and let them "wash" all your tupperwear... Pull out some newspaper and let them shred it... watering can/spray bottle- let them go outside and water the grass... do you have a buckle? Like on a bike helmet? let them buckle, unbuckle, buckle, unbuckle... hope this helps ;)
I hope you have a better day today! It is extremely difficult to be productive when your children are being needy (going through that now with our littlest & fighting with all 3). Personally, I find that I can handle the day a bit better if I set my alarm & wake earlier than them & have my coffee, shower, blog time. Don't beat yourself up! As for upcycling tee's, is the image something you could just cut out & sew on a new shirt as an applique???
Yuck! I hate those kind of days... At least it's over now right? I especially hate it when sewing projects don't turn out right - I always have such a clear picture of how it's supposed to turn out and so if it flops I'm usually in a bad mood for at least the rest of the day... I'll keep my eyes peeled for a t-shirt tutorial and let you know if I come across any! I hope things are looking up for you today!
We all have off days...I hope your family gets back in to a groove soon!
