We (Tony, the girls and I were) were driving home from our quest to find Ash a cheap bike (another post on that later) and were listening to the radio. The question that was asked was, "We see them all the time, but 1 out of 4 people have not been in (fill in the blank)?" I was thinking the answer was a taxi and asked Tony if he'd ever been in one. He said he had once, in Mexico. I remember taking a taxi with my dad when I was very young. I left my brand new umbrella in that taxi and never got it back. I was very sad.
Anyways, Tony's guess was a bus. I asked him if he'd ever been in a bus. He looked at me like I was completely mental. Then I said, "Oh yeah. I guess you've been on a school bus." I was thinking more of like a city bus. Then he said, "Jamie. You've been taking me to the bus stop for over a year now."
................
Oh yeah. That bus.
Duh.
It's not often when I feel dumb and/or embarrassed with Tony. But that moment was an exception.
(this is probably what I looked like. this picture was not originally so red. this picture is also 4 years old. i just wanted to recreate how flushed i get when embarrassed. which is embarrassing on top of being embarrassed!)
The correct answer was airplane, by the way.
