I have friends who have served in the military, but I've never had family make that type of sacrifice. I've always been grateful for the men and women who serve us and our country. Now I just want to offer up a daily prayer for all the children who miss their military daddies and mommies sooooo much! I am very thankful for their sacrifices as well. These people are amazing.
I held it together until that sweet little girl, on Santa's lap mouthed, "Daddy."
Oh my breaking heart!!
I need another tissue.

I should not watch videos like that... too emotional!
Thanks for visiting my blog. Yours is lovely too. I will be bookmarking the chocolate chip zucchini cake recipe. Sounds interesting. x
This is a wonderful post, you and me both with the tissues. I understand these families, I was part of that, and by the looks of it, I'm afraid we may have to go through that again. I pray that we don't with all my heart I pray that the Lord opens up another avenue for us. I don't want my son to go through this, things are hard enough now:-(
New follower!
I cried this morning watching the return of the soldieres too! xoxo
Hi Jamie! Thank you for visiting my blog. I love your blog...very creative and fun!
I have many friends and family who are serving or have served in the military. I have the utmost respect for them, other soldiers and their families for the sacrifices that they make for me and my family. I agree that they are amazing.
So I've seen this a few times (I'm a military wife) and I cry all 10:03 minutes of it EVERY time!!! And, I can't wait for my husband to get home.
Agreed.
**sniff, tear** Tissue please!
This is just too emotional, I cried from start to finish. God Bless them all and their families.
