Today I'm Admitting To A Phobia.

I didn't know it until last Friday, but I may have a wee bit of an issue with heights.  I think I can say that I now have absolutely NO desire to see the Grand Canyon.

The Resevoir

While we were camping, we went to go see the Flaming Gorge Dam.  The pictures really don't show how extreme it was.  Everytime I looked down I felt like I was going to fall and it didn't help that I had a precious baby strapped to my back.  I felt a little sick and dizzy too.

The Hubster & The Princess

I think that if I wasn't a momma, I'd probably have been excited by it.  But I have WAY too much to live for now to ever think danger is all that exilerating.

Yikes!

But, it was cool and the tour guide was very knowedgable.

Double yikes.

Interesting Facts: They began building the dam in 1958 and finished in 1964.  It's 502 feet wide, 1180 feet tall and made up of 987,000 cubic feet of concrete.  In otherwords - HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!

Britt got bored and tired.  Poor little wobble head.

So, if you're ever at Flaming Gorge to do some awesome camping, I highly recommend a quick little jaunt over to Flaming Gorge Dam.

The innards.

Oh, and heads up, if you've got a pacemaker you can't go down inside the belly of the beast because of all the electronic/magnetic waves....er....something like that.  :D

Major towerage goin' on here.

At the bottom.

We killed a lot of bugs on our drive to Utah (and just as many on the way back).
