Today I'm TOTALLY Making Cookies!

I found a new blog.  Well, it's not new....I mean, it is to me.  Gah!  You know what I mean.  Anyways.  I'm hooked by this blogger's wit, gorgeous pics, and the fact that I can recreate everything she posts about!

(chocolate waffles anyone? source.)

Baker Girl makes all sorts of fabulous looking treats and I've been pinning her recipes like a crazy lady.

(totally making this sometime soon too.  just gotta buy a popcorn popper is all.... source.)

So - I'm going into the kitchen now to make some Chocolatey Avalanche Bars.  I seriously cannot get them made fast enough.  :P

(this is what i'm making as soon as i hit "publish post." source)

What are your plans for this weekend?  I'm thinking of asking Tony to take us all bowling tomorrow.  Bet the girls would love it.

(me on my mission.  living in houston.  bowling with friends.  2006.)

P.S.  Just in case you're wondering, I'm off my extreme diet but still eating healthy ratios and keeping the goodies to a minimum (in other words, savoring each sugary bite slowly and fully).  And by healthy ratios, I mean half of my plate is fruits and veggies and the other half is grains and proteins.

P.P.S.  If you live in the vicinity, come help me eat the goodies!

I served in Southern Houston. To be more specific: Alief, Friendswood, and Sugar Land. I seriously need to get back there for a visit!

Yes, thanks for posting more! I love having a welcome break from all of my activities to enjoy reading about your life.

And I also second...what a beautiful picture of you! I bet bowling would be fun! Do they make tiny bowling balls for children? Hee, there goes my imagination, you must promise to take pictures! ;)
