Today I Took A Shower.

I know, I know.  You're thinking, "Uh....good for you, Jamie."

But as I was enjoying the warmth of a hot shower, I started to say a prayer of gratitude because I realized what a huge blessing it is to have running water.  Warm, clean, bug-free, germ-free, pesticide-free water!  Water that I don't have to heat or pump myself.  I turn a handle and it's all there.

So thankful.

coming from the Philippines, with scarce clean water, i know exactly all the pains of fetching water and you still have to heat it up if you want to bathe in it.

Showers are a precious commodity. You don't realise how much you love them until you can't have one. x.

Ah... yes, me too! There is nothing as refreshing and rejuvenating as a good, hot, clean shower. Seriously... how DID they survive before running water??
I guess they never had a hot shower. Had no idea what they were missing.

High five to you for counting your blessings! even the little ones. :)

Especially in the Winter, warm water is such a blessing.

There are so many wonderful things we take for granted everyday. Thank you for reminding us of one.

SO true! I think about the people in Haiti, who after a year since the hurricane, many are in tents without their own running water. That's something I take for granted every day!!!

I love this bit of gratitude! And any day that I'm able to take a shower is a good, thankful day!
