Today I Had an Ultrasound.

**big grin**

I told my husband that there are blue sperm and pink sperm and the only kind he makes is pink.  Lol.

We're having Girl #3!!!  God must like the way Tony and I parent girls, so he's blessing us with another one.

It's funny.  When the ultrasound tech told me my baby's gender, I was washed by emotion.  Not just one emotion, but a couple different feelings.  I cried a little.  It was weird.  I was happy and sad.  Sad because it wasn't a boy (so strange) and happy because it's a girl.  I love my girls and being able to have another to doll up is exciting.  Now I get to pull down all the boxes of baby clothes and go through them.  I need to pull down all the stored clothes boxes and see what I can find for Britt to wear this Fall too.  And yes, we do have a name picked out, but I'm not telling what it is yet.

Ok.  Just a hint.  But only because I have a question.  How do you pronounce the name "Elle?"  Would you say Ell?  Or Ellie?  Just curious.  :)

And now, I must keep it brief.  Tony and I are going to go see Cowboys and Aliens.  The write-up I read about this movie make it sound dumb.  But I spent soooo much of my youth being madly in love with Han Solo Harrison Ford.  So, of course I have to go see this movie!

Oh!  Almost forgot.  Here's a pic of the littlest princess.  She likes to have her hands up in front of her face.

Congrats Jamie! So excited for the two of you! Having three girls is a lot of fun, at least when they are young. :)

OOoooOoh!!! YEA!! You make lovely girls!! :) Elle to me, looks like El, Ellie looks like Ell-E. However, Elle looks prettier? and it all matters about what you like anyways. If you tell me Elle is Ell-E, than that is what it is. I get told I spell Jakobs name wrong all the time. Apparently the correct way to spell it is JaCob. Whatever. That isnt his name. ;) I should have spelled Rachel, RaECh (silent z) el. :)

Jamie,

Congratulations on another girl. I sometimes wish my daughter had a baby sister because I know she would have been a great big sister to one as she is to her little brother.

I would pronounce the name as Elle(silent e). As MommyMert says, the spelling and pronunciation is up to you because it's the name you chose. I also look at spelling and some letters together are prettier than others. Just be prepared to having to make corrections. My youngest son has a name that is typically spelled one way, but I just had to be different. I do get annoyed when I have to correct people, but only when I've written it several times the way it's spelled (same problem w/my last name where people put a "z" when I never wrote one).

I'll also pray for your husband and his growing house of girls :-)!

you have no idea how jealous I already am for your 2 girls, now you are having another girl?!

congratulations! I am so happy for your girl #3. she looks like she already has an attitude putting her arms on her face. LOL!

and i thought you are going for the name 'Pippa'?

I think 'Elle' is pronounced 'El' , like the character Elle Woods in Legally Blonde movie with Reese Witherspoon.

Anyway, continue to take care of yourself. I hope your pregnancy goes smoothly for all of you.

Congratulations, how exciting!!! Three little girls will be so much fun!

Just keep in mind that with only a sonogram, you never know for sure. :) I have a friend who was supposed to have a girl, and went all out, decorating the nursery with ultrafeminine pastel pink and lace and roses....and then gave birth to a boy! Talk about a surprise!

yay!!!! I'm so excited for you! I kind of had the same reaction when I found out that we were having another boy. I was sad it wasn't a girl, but so happy it was a boy.

I would pronounce the name Ell. There was a little girl in our ward who was Andrew's age, and her name was Elle and they pronounced it that way. I loved it and she was gorgeous!

I can't wait to see what you name her and how you pronounce it. =]

I want another girl too, when we make our baby#2! =)

If in Brazil, I would pronounce Ellie, but if in America, I would pronounce Ell!

WOO HOO! Exciting with boy or girl! It's fun to know!

I say Ellie. Like El-E. I knew someone with the name of Ellieanna once. I thought that was really pretty. She went by Ellie for short.
