Today I Looked for a Birthday Dress.

I really should be focusing on Halloween costumes or something, since that comes before Ash's birthday, but I found THE DRESS on Ebay!!!!  Ack.  I'm posting this pic here but the best ones are on the listing (they say "do not copy", so I'm not going there).  Don't even think about bidding on this dress or I probably won't be able to be your friend anymore.  :P  Seriously.

We're doing a vintage book theme.  Books because Ash could spend hours reading (and when not distracted, does).  Vintage because I love old stuff!  So, this dress is perfecto!  Now, I just gotta win the auction!  Wish me luck!

I loooove the boots on the model.  The seller told me that are Pepe.  I don't know about you, but I'm NOT spending $100+ dollars on shoes for someone who will probably go up a shoe size halfway through the winter.  Nuh-Uh.

But I love these.

And these.
(if I could afford to put my kids in only livie & luca, i would in a heartbeat)

And these are pretty cute too (and half the price of the other two)

Now excuse me.  I need to go figure out how to pin pictures of all these finds on Pinterest.  I'm a Pinterest Newbie.  This could take a while.

P.S.  Potty Training Update:  I gave out THREE "poop prizes" today!!  The secret is to deprive her of wearing anything on her lower half.  She comes running for the potty whenever she feels an urge.  **doing the happy dance**  So, she gets to run around half naked for two weeks and then we'll try the Tinker Bell undies again.  Today was a good day.  **satisfied**  And I made oatmeal cookies, so Tony thinks it's a good day too.  **laugh**

I love livie & luca! I tried winning a giveaway for them once or twice. I didn't win. I like old things to. I have an old glass cabinet and a library card catalog box that I use as an end table. Both I got for free and I helped my dad restore them. They both hold old things. Then we have a display of arrow heads in our hallway.

YAY for the poopy!!!!!!!!! That is GREAT!

That dress is adorable!!! I am so wishing I had a little girl right now so I could dress her up all pretty and cute. Maybe someday. =]

Yay for your PT news, too! I'm glad you've found something that works!

You scored on so much today, first I love, love that darling dress and I find myself drooling over those cute boots. Man, it's a lucky thing I don't have any Grandchildren yet!

Congratulations on the potty training that's a feat all in its self then to top it off, you made cookies!

Wow, lots of fun things happening around your place, that's for sure!!

That is exactly what got my kids potty trained as well...letting them be little streakers! I only wish I had a reason to bid on that adorable dress!!

I've heard the half naked thing works. Good luck!

And those boots are sooo cute! But I agree, I'm never buying designer stuff for growing children. Unless it's a hand-me-down or thrift store gold, they're not wearing it.

I love vintage too, she'll look so cute in that dress!!!

I love Livie and Luca, but never found the courage to spend almost 50,00 on a pair of shoes... =( Though I know they are probably worth it.
I hope to see them at zulily or minisocial one day...

The dress is sooooo pretty! I'm sorry you didn't get it. I'm sure you'll find another one! =)

hugs from Brazil!
